[Description]
The primary concept was to integrate the advantages of OLED technology—its extremely light and thin body, coupled with a natural light effect—with human emotions. As metaphorical representations of lightness and thinness, artistic effects reminiscent of falling leaves and snowflakes are captured within the lamp. Furthermore, to enhance the natural lighting effect, light is diffused through a translucent surface, bringing emotional comfort to the space in a subtle manner.
User Control Functions, Easy and Simple Assembly/Manufacture
The lamp is structured with two main supporting rods that contain electrical connections, rising from a base plate. Half of the OLED panels are mounted onto one of the steel structural rods, with the remainder on the other rod. Each connection point between the OLED panels and the rods features a rotating joint, allowing for adjustments at angles of 0, 5, 10, 15, and 20 degrees. This design enables users to personalize the lamp’s artistic expression, emotional ambiance, and direction of light emission.
In terms of materials, the lamp uses only steel and polycarbonate. The rectangular parallelepiped container is crafted from translucent polycarbonate, while the supporting rods and base plate are made from white-coated steel. In addition, the base plate cover and the OLED panel frames are made from white polycarbonate. The simplicity of the joint connections, the standardization of the square OLED panels, and the exclusive use of just two materials make the assembly and manufacture processes straightforward and efficient.
